Through secondary research into what current 'rescue' organisations we have in the UK, I stumbled across the Doris Banham Dog Rescue, located in Lincolnshire (LN6 8NU).
Doris Banham work tirelessly to rescue stray dogs from unnecessary euthanasia in dog pounds. They do this by removing them and try to lace them within nearby re-homing shelters. If this is not possible, they conduct ass advertising to try and find homes for these animals before the 'death sentence' is reached.
In the hope they can share essences of their expertise in this field and ultimately their opinion on what could be done to improve the current issue, I contacted them explaining my intent with my on-line questionnaire link - in the hope they will complete it. They witness the harsh reality every day, so their opinion would be invaluable.
